As stated in my previous blog, the summer sales slow down as the temperatures heat up. This year was no exception. From the peak in May of 342 sales each summer month trended down until we bottom in August at the end of summer. From the peak in May of 342 sales, June sales of 306, July sales of 285, August sales of 256. Finally, September sales as of October 6th were up at 271, but may rise a little higher as September sales continue to be reported and booked. Fall traditionally has been good until we hit the holidays when the holiday activities and winter weather slow things down again. Mid term elections may have some impact on people as they wait to see the results of the elections and how things will play out.
